Position: SEO & PPC Specialist
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for formulating scalable SEO and PPC strategies to improve our SEM exponentially
- Performing daily campaign activities for PPC campaigns including bid management, budget allocation, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, categorizing and refining keywords lists and campaign expansion
- Auditing onsite and offsite SEO factors, SERP archives, competitors research, ranking factors and latest optimization techniques
- Optimizing copy, visuals, ad copy, landing pages, writing unique and relevant meta descriptions, URL structure, link profiling, submitting RSS feeds and advanced link building exercises
- Incorporating holistic search insights in unison with PPC to provide and devise strategic direction based on findings
- Tracking, analyzing and reporting data on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly/ad-hoc basis and implement insights based on a test-and-learn approach
- Collaborating with the team to optimize campaign components for each channel including but not limited to email, social, digital, print, PR, SEO, PPC etc.
- Brainstorming, researching targeting and copy ideas for specific campaigns
Requirements
- BS/MS in Digital Marketing, Information Technology or equivalent experience preferably on the agency side
- 3+ years of extensive hands-on PPC and SEO experience including AB and MV tests
- Highly computer literate and advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Ads, Data Studio, Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, MS Excel, YouTube Analytics and other related tools
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Creative Suite
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Intentional listener with strong ability to translate data into actionable content direction
- Calm demeanour with a bias for action and taking the initiative to ensure conversions
- Passion for numbers and reporting metrics
- Ability and adaptability to work under pressure to meet rapid-turnaround and longer-term deadlines
Additional Details
Location: This role will require you to work from our offices in Abbotsford, BC. There is no expected work-related travel unless specified by management.
Work Arrangement: Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Start Date: As soon as possible
