Business Development Specialist

YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a talented, driven individual to be our business development specialist. It’s a hands-on sales role where you’ll be developing and managing an enterprise sales cycle and working closely with the VP of Sales. This is an inside sales role, with some opportunity for travel.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- 2-3 Years in a direct sales environment
- Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions
- Hunter mentality and self-starter
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced, team environment
- Has a strong interest in Technology & Software
- CRM experience
- Hunger to learn, persistence, reliable, confident and personable are some of the traits we’re looking for in our ideal person
- Great problem solver, ability to reinvent oneself and strong customer references – We are always looking at ways we can do things better, sometimes there is no path to follow

YOUR ROLE
- Manage all aspects of client selling: prospecting, consultation, building strategic proposals, relationship management, closing, and transition.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue
- Manage a prospecting pipeline using our CRM system and keep detailed notes on prospects
- You’ll be interacting with potential clients via phone calls, emails, and industry events.
- Tracking of metrics
